PA Hunter & Trapper Education Course
This is a multi-day training class for any person who is required to complete the mandatory Hunter-Trapper Education training program before purchasing their first Hunting or Fur taking license.
NOTE: YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 11 YEARS OLD TO REGISTER FOR CLASS
***Attendees DO NOT need a gun of any kind for class.***

Special Instructions for All Students
Please study chapters 1 (Intro to Hunter & Trapper Education), chapter 4 (Wildlife & Conservation Management), chapter 5 (Outdoor Safety) and 9 (Basic Shooting Skills) in Today's Hunter & Trapper in Pennsylvania before the course. These topics are not covered in the day's teaching but are included on the final test. It is best to familiarize yourself with the entire book, but chapters 1, 4, 5 & 9 must be covered at home. Feel free to ask questions on these topics the day of the course if you need help.

Personal Protection Inside The Home
Learn the essential skills and techniques for personal protection inside the home with a handgun during this two day course. The course schedule includes classroom instruction and demonstrations, followed by time on the range. This is an advanced course and requires the attendee to possess a good and safe working knowledge of their handgun. The NRA Basic Pistol Course is required (you can test thru if you have used a handgun before) for those new to the ownership and handling of handguns prior to this course.
The course is taught by NRA certified and MCSA experienced instructors.

NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course
This is an intensive two day class to equip the defensive shooting candidate with the skills needed to survive serious adversity.
More Details: The course teaches students the skills essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.
The course is taught by NRA certified and experienced instructors.
Pistol and Ammo are needed, approximately 100 rounds of ammunition during day one
Pistol and ammo are needed, approximately 115 rounds of ammunition for day two.
